As a financial centre, Singapore could be forgiven to rest on its laurels; but they haven’t ! These days we know Singapore as a shopping destination, and a cultural hub. So much more than a stopover destination, some of the best festivals and events occur throughout Singapore.

Singapore has recently joined the Michelin system of epicurean rating. In the last year, almost 40 restaurants have been honoured with Michelin stars including Labyrinth (on Raffles Ave) and Candelnut (on Dempsey Road). As with many of the top restaurants; they incorporate degustation and variations on local cuisines.

In March 2018, the World Gourmet Summit celebrates Singapore’s finest eateries, and fine dining. Expect to mingle and learn from some of the worlds best chefs including Petty Elliot and the Roca brothers (from 3 starred Michelin food destination El Celler de Can Roca).

Coinciding with the World Gourmet Summit, is the drinking equalvelent; Singapore Cocktail Festival. As one of Asias largest cocktail festival, it aims to please both the seasoned and novice palate. Their moto, Taste, Learn & Play sums it up. You wont be disappointed. The festival occurs next year between March 16 and 21.
