Nok Airlines Public Company Limited has now officially received the approval from the Department of Civil Aviation of Thailand (CAAT) for the Air Operator’s Re-Certification (AOCR) under globally accepted safety standards, a process all Thai airlines have been going through. Mr. Patee Sarasin, Nok Air’s Chief Executive Office received the certificate from Mr. Chula Sukmanop, Director of The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand, as witnessed by Mr. Arkhom Termpittayapaisith, Minister of Transport at The Ministry of Transport.

“This is a significant step forward toward removing any international red flags that were placed on Thai-registered airlines to operate worldwide. We will continue to further develop and enhance our flight operations, training programs, maintenance arrangements, and cost savings as we move forward. Most important of all, the continued safety of our passengers remains, as always, a top priority” said Mr. Patee Sarasin, Nok Air’s Chief Executive Officer.

Nok Air is taking strong, consistent and steadfast steps as it looks to bring its operations back to positive results, always aiming to provide the best in services to its flying customers. The plan includes reducing unnecessary costs, improving network expansion, and further efficiency in the use of aircraft. In addition, Nok Air will revise and develop certain business models in order to meet the changing behavior of its passengers.

Nok Air remains a friendly low-cost carrier with a priority to fully cover the domestic market while expanding regional market operations, with a focus at this time on China. The airline has been at the forefront of low-cost aviation innovation, and will continue to bring the best in technology, service, and standards. Nok Air aims to consistently work to improve and strengthen as it goes forward, making Thailand proud.
