209510Award-winning luxury cruise and tour operator APT has announced it will run a series of special Travel Expos throughout June. The events showcase the breadth of APT’s product portfolio and include: Europe River Cruising, South America, the Kimberley and Outback, Russia, China and Burma, Canada and Alaska, USA, Luxury Small Ship Cruising, Vietnam and Cambodia, Africa, India and Antarctica.

Dates and locations for each APT Travel Expo are as follows:

  • Wednesday 18 June, Sydney
  • Thursday 19 June, Brisbane
  • Tuesday 24 June, Melbourne
  • Thursday 26 June, Perth

According to APT Commercial Manager Retail, Susan Haberle, the events provide a great opportunity for Travel Agents to send their clients along to in order to better understand APT’s wide range of products and destinations:

“These are consumer sessions designed to help drive trade sales. We cover the whole world in our sessions, giving clients an insight into all of our products and destinations. For our trade partners they are really helpful because as well as offering a chance for clients to learn more about their destination of choice, or the next one on their list, they also whet their appetite for future trips. At APT we have a strong track record in repeat bookings and that’s what makes these sessions so valuable for our industry partners.

“As with our information sessions, we incentivise all clients with discounts if they book with their travel agent and if bookings are taken on the day then we transfer that booking directly to their Travel Agent. However I would urge agents to book clients onto these sessions as soon as possible as spaces are limited and theses events fill up fast.”
