PROMPERU, the tourism board for Peru, has appointed Global Tourism Interface (GTI) as the new PR agency for the Australian market, effective immediately.
GTI has been appointed to develop and implement annual public relations and travel trade programme which will promote Peru’s diverse cultural and natural attractions to the Australian market.
The Promperu team, composed by Rosana Guinea, Coordinator for markets in Asia and Oceania and Rafael Noriega, Australia market specialist have appointed GTI based on the excellent combination of technical and economical proposal made to the Peruvian Institution, regarding the expertise of its staff and company performance in the last years.
Promperu is well informed about GTI´s public relations expertise and knowledge of the Australian travel industry, as well as GTI´s ability to organise events which attract key opinion leaders and media and proven results generating significant press coverage.
“Public Relations are a key part of the overall strategy for Peru and we are looking forward to a successful partnership with GTI”, stated Rosana.

GTI will be responsible for maintaining an active press office, organising travel trade workshop events and managing a number of media familiarisation programmes for PROMPERU. Their strategy will also embrace promotions and online opportunities.
