The Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) has renewed an agreement with Perth Airport to continue efforts in attracting more international travellers to Western Australia.
Under the agreement, Perth Airport will be an ATEC Gold Corporate Partner and the ATEC WA Branch sponsor and work with more than 1000 companies which are ATEC members.
Both parties will give local inbound tourism operators more exposure to overseas markets and aim to generate additional international tourist business for the state.
"ATEC’s partnership with Perth Airport holds a lot of potential for both the aviation and tourism sectors in Western Australia,” said ATEC Managing Director Matt Hingerty.
"From Broome to the Kimberley down to the Margaret River region, Western Australia boasts some of Australia’s best tourism attractions,”
