The French private airline Aigle Azur welcomed the delivery of its first directly purchased new Airbus A319 aircraft at a ceremony in Hamburg last week.
This new A319 will join the airline’s fleet of ten A320 Family aircraft, comprising three A319s, three A320s and four A321s.
"The delivery of this brand new aircraft highlights our fleet upgrading strategy which enables us to offer our passengers the highest levels of comfort and services" said Arezki Idjerouidene, President of Aigle Azur.
"With an all A320 Family fleet we benefit from savings in every element of direct operating costs and from the highest degree of operational commonality."
