The competition which will run through the month of February, is offering prizes such as return air tickets to Japan for two, accommodation, theme park tickets, and premium Japanese sake.
To be in the running to win a prize, JNTO Sydney is asking entrants to write in 200 words or less what they think Japan’s best kept secret is. The most creative answers will be chosen and winners announced in mid- March.
Meanwhile, the winners of the first competition – in which entrants were asked why they wanted to go Japan – have been announced on the Visit Japan Year 2010 Campaign website.
The Visit Japan Year 2010 Campaign was launched in the Australian market on November 25, 2009 and runs through March 29, 2010. It focuses on promoting Japan’s 1) affordability, 2) experiential tourism, 3) ski fields and outdoor adventure activities, 4) second golden route, and 5) cuisine and sake.
