TRAVEL wholesaler Explore Holidays and Italy Tourism served up Italy’s finest travel offerings along with the destination’s famous food at a series of industry dinners in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney recently.
Held in top Italian restaurants in the three capitals, the evenings were attended by 20 travel agents from each state involved in selling Explore Holiday’s exciting Italy product.
Marketing Manager for Explore Holidays Maxine Wiggs said it was a delight working with Italy Tourism in hosting the dinners.
“The informal evenings were a great success, allowing agents to learn more about the destination with the Explore Holidays and Italy Tourism teams,’’ she said
Agents were showcased Explore Holidays’ new Italy brochure which has been expanded from 74 pages to 124.
“They were fun evenings with lucky door prizes given away to agents, and in Sydney we were fortunate enough to have Enzo from Italy Tourism address the agents on how passenger numbers have increased 10 percent on last year.”
The evenings were held at dell ugo restaurant in Brisbane on January 19, Trunk restaurant, Melbourne, on January 20 and Sydney’s La Sala on January 21.
