G Adventures is pleased to announce a new addition to its Australian senior leadership team, with the appointment of Matt Drummond as Director of Sales for Australia and New Zealand, effective immediately.
Matt brings over 14 years industry experience in both wholesale and retail to the Director of Sales role and has recently celebrated his 10 year anniversary as part of the G Adventures team.
For the past five years, Matt has served as National Sales Manager for G Adventures Australia and New Zealand, leading a passionate team of Global Purpose Specialists (GPSs). The collective focus of the trade sales team will continue to be to provide outreach, education and sales support for the Australian and New Zealand travel trade.
“I’m excited to be working on a strategic, high-level basis with our key trade partners, as trade continues to be a key focus for our business in the Australian and New Zealand market”, said Matt.
“In the Director of Sales role, I hope to create stronger relationships with existing partners as well as foster new relationships.

Australia and New Zealand Managing Director, Adrian Piotto, believes there is no one better suited to the Director of Sales role than Matt as he lives and breathes the G Adventures ethos.

Outside of the office, Matt enjoys hiking the great outdoors, exploring the unknown and supporting his beloved Richmond Tigers. As a sports tragic, he looks forward to continue dominating his competitors at the G Adventures ping pong table at their Outpost Headquarters in Melbourne.
