From World Cup to Sydney
Following six months overseas, where he watched much of the World Cup live in Russia, Milos Obradovic has returned to Sydney to take up the role as Restaurant Manager at the Tank Stream Hotel’s Le Petit Flot restaurant.
A passionate football fan, Milos is also passionate about food and service, and will bring almost nine years hospitality experience to the Tank Stream Hotel’s Le Petit Flot bistro and private dining room, and the week-day Dave’s Deli outlet opposite Australia Square.
Milos was Assistant Restaurant Manager at Novotel Manly, which operates a range of F&B outlets, including one of beachside village’s most popular venues, Zali’s Restaurant.
“I am really looking forward to making Le Petit Flot one of the CBD’s most attractive dining experiences,” Milos said.
“It is located in the heart of the CBD but also provides a sanctuary of peace and hospitality, with its relaxed ambience and first floor location.
“With so many corporate and government offices surrounding us we are seeing increasing demand from people wanting a quieter environment but real bistro atmosphere and value.
“While there are plenty of takeaway outlets and high-end restaurants in the city centre, there are not so many restaurants of the style, quality and value as Le Petit Flot. Our chefs Colin and Golam are acclaimed for the freshness of the produce they use and the presentation of their dishes, and we look forward to introducing new dishes to the menu and a refreshed wine list over the next few months.
“It is also rare to be able to offer a private dining room in the heart of the city. It is already being booked for pre-Christmas corporate events and we tailor menus to suit the particular event.”
Milos said that in addition to new menu items, the restaurant would be launching new promotional concepts to reward regular diners.
“With our prime location, we really want Le Petit Flot to become one of Sydney’s favourite hospitality spots for workers, visitors and guests.”
