Halcyon House soars into the Top 3 of US Condé Nast Traveler’s 2018 Readers’ Choice Awards
Halcyon House, one of Australia’s most unique beachside hotels, is delighted to announce it has been awarded third position in Australia in the 31st annual US Condé Nast Traveler’s 2018 Readers’ Choice Awards. A former surf motel turned boutique hotel, Halcyon House is situated at one of the country’s best surf breaks, in one of its most idyllic and quintessentially Australian beachfront towns – Cabarita Beach in Northern New South Wales.
The Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards are the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of travel excellence in the travel industry and are commonly known as “the best of the best of travel”. Voted for by discerning travellers, the 2018 awards received nearly half a million submissions from readers, and tens of thousands of comments. Readers responses rated their travel experiences to provide a full snapshot of where and how we travel today. With such a high number of submissions, not only is Halcyon House thrilled to rank so highly, but are also celebrating a rise in the awards rankings – having increased a point from their 2017 ranking of number four.
Halcyon House General Manager, Mauro De Riso, said of the award, “We’re delighted to receive this ranking in Australia for the US Condé Nast Traveler’s 2018 Readers’ Choice Awards. The award is especially meaningful to us here at Halcyon House as it is voted for by our guests, and their satisfaction is paramount to everything we do.”
