Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney scoops major Industry Awards
Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney made a clean sweep of the 2018 HM Awards for Hotel and Accommodation Excellence, taking home five prestigious awards in Sydney on 7 September 2018.
The winning streak included Executive Pastry Chef Anna Polyviou taking out “Hotel Chef”, Director of Engineering Anura Yapa winning “Hotel Engineer”, and Engineer Service Manager Aditi Sood being awarded “Rising Star”.
The impressive list of accolades continued with the hotel named “Highly Commended Luxury Hotel” and Guest Relations Manager Losalini Monano walking away with “Highly Recommended Front Office Associate”.
General Manager Philippe Kronberg was “deeply delighted and truly honoured to see our hotel shine, and be rewarded with five impressive awards at the region’s 2018 HM Awards”.
