Wyndham Destinations welcomes Ramada Suites by Wyndham Solo
New hotel in Central Java is the hospitality giant’s eighth managed property in Indonesia
Wyndham Destinations has today announced the expansion of its managed hotel and resort portfolio in Indonesia with the introduction of Ramada Suites by Wyndham Solo, an easily accessible, upscale property in the Central Java city of Solo.
Ramada Suites Solo is a unique heritage-inspired building featuring a fusion of traditional royal Javanese and modern architectural elements. The 136-room property is cleverly designed as a three-storey main building, and two-storey residences, featuring courtyards and walkways, landscaped gardens, a barbecue area and an onsite picturesque replica temple.
“Solo is quickly becoming a must-visit destination for travellers who want to discover the rich history of Java and experience its culture,” said Barry Robinson, President and Managing Director, International Operations, Wyndham Destinations. “Travellers will love the charm of the traditional markets and the newer malls, enjoy exploring the lush country surrounding the city and savour the traditional performing arts scene. As a seat of authority in the former Mataram Empire, it also has a lively history that is sure to intrigue visitors.
“Ramada Suites Solo will be the perfect base for travellers to explore this exciting region and will add further diversity to our management portfolio in Indonesia. We look forward to welcoming guests to this dynamic destination and providing them with our signature brand of hospitality.”
Ramada Suites Solo is managed by PT Wyndham Hotel Management – an Indonesian subsidiary of Wyndham Destinations – through a license agreement with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
PT Wyndham Hotel Management currently manages eight hotels and resorts across the country under the Wyndham, Wyndham Garden, Ramada by Wyndham and Days Inn by Wyndham brands. Four of the properties are located in Bali, while one is located in each of Jakarta, Surabaya, Palembang and now, Solo.
