Today and for one day only, Madame Tussauds Sydney launched the Justice Bus – a super-hero themed Big Bus that took to the streets of Sydney, saving locals one by one. The team saw it all; missed trains, office supply shortages, gluttony requests and even broken nails!

The Justice Bus celebrates the all-new Justice League: A Call For Heroes experience which opens at at Madame Tussauds Sydney this weekend. Starting at 5:30am this morning and running through the afternoon, Sydney residents called on the Justice Bus by uploading social posts along with the hashtag #JusticeBusSaveUs or sending direct messages along with their requests.

“We wanted to surprise and delight Sydney with the super-hero treatment,” said Mark Connolly, General Manager, Madame Tussauds Sydney.

“The strangest request we received was for printer paper from an office in the CBD! Then there was a banker that broke a nail before a meeting and others who forgot their lunch, slept in and missed their train, or those who just wanted a mid-morning snack and were too cold to leave the office!

“No job was too small for the Justice Bus and we loved seeing the smiles on the faces of Sydney residents as we made the day a little better!”

“There’s only four days until the launch of the new Justice League: A Call for Heroes experience at Madame Tussauds Sydney so we thought we’d celebrate by surprising Sydney with the VIP treatment. The Justice Bus gave Sydney a taste of the incredible figures joining our Sydney family with immersive, hi-tech interactive experiences, and a world-first moving wax figure!” added Mark.

Simon Burgess, General Manager for Big Bus Sydney, said: “When Madame Tussauds approached us with the idea of creating a Justice League super-hero Big Bus, we jumped at the chance! We’d had a great day saving Sydneysiders from their first world problems and admiring Sydney from new heights.”

The Justice League: A Call for Heroes experience at Madame Tussauds Sydney opens on Saturday 30th June, and features an all-star cast of DC Super Heroes in an action-packed adventure unlike any other. Guests will star alongside Justice League’s Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, and Ezra Miller as The Flash as they fight to save the world from Lex Luthor’s evil corporation, LexCorp.
