Natalie Calder joins AFTA as member Engagement Executive

The Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) is very pleased to announce the appointment of Natalie Calder to the position of Member Engagement Executive.

Natalie’s appointment makes her the twelfth AFTA staff member and she fills an important gap in the organisation’s existing structure; a resource dedicated to meeting with, supporting and ensuring that existing members maximise their membership benefits. Natalie will also be responsible for finding potential new members as well as forging strong relationships with all AFTA stakeholders and Allied members.

“Natalie comes with a terrific background from within the travel industry including, having worked as a travel agent many years ago and more recently with some of AFTA’s partners on the supplier side,” said Jayson Westbury, AFTA Chief Executive.

“Natalie will bring her fantastic energy and personal drive as she is deployed out in the field to work closely with our members and ensure that they are maximising their membership. Natalie will also be working closely with new members,” added Westbury.

“I am delighted to join the AFTA team, this is a fantastic opportunity for me to bring all my experience within the travel Industry, ranging from being an agent, working within airlines and cruise to wholesale, as well as my international experience. Building relationships is what I love and I am excited to meet all the agents and work with them and the AFTA Team.”
