Presented in partnership with SafetyCulture, and staged at the Australian Museum of Contemporary Art, the bumper one-day thought-leadership conference brings together some of the most respected names in events to share practical insights and examine news ways to foster creativity and ‘dream big’ in a climate where risk mitigation and public safety concerns are at an all-time high.

“Ensuring attendees and staff have a safe experience is fundamental to running events. The risks associated with event management are changing faster than ever before, as we have seen with incidents around the world recently,” said SafetyCulture CEO, Luke Anear.

“It is terrific to see the industry leaders come together at The Event Summit to discuss the best methods for reducing risk and ensuring patrons continue to enjoy each event they attend and I am looking forward to hearing from the world class speaker line up.”

The robust program line-up features events professionals and stakeholders with experience managing The Super Bowl, Melbourne Cup Birdcage, Splendour in the Grass, Australian Open of Tennis, The Commonwealth Games, Surf Life Saving Australia National Championships, Taste Festival, American Express Open Air Cinemas, Vivid, The Royal Easter Show and more.

Through presentations and sessions based on real-life scenarios, attendees will learn how to grow their business and organisations, while understanding how to confidently take risks without infringing on creativity and recognising how to identify opportunities and challenges in the event sector.
