What does it take to create a niche brand in today’s market?
Founder of Crooked Compass, Lisa Pagotto, will be the guest speaker at a lunch in Sydney next week. Pagotto, a rising star in the industry, will share her knowledge on how to develop a strong niche brand.
“I look forward to sharing my journey, from the struggle of being a lone ranger in a young business, through to the immense highs of seeing the idea boom”, said Pagotto, “I hope my story can inspire others to back themselves and to focus on what they really want in their life and career.”
Pagotto has lived and breathed the travel industry since 2003. Excelling in all facets from product development, price contracting and negotiations, to heading up sales, marketing and strategic teams across Asia Pacific.
Adventure and experiential travel is close to Pagotto’s heart. She believes to truly experience a destination you must completely immerse yourself in it and live like the locals do.
Crooked Compass is focused on the unique, remote, and lesser known or untouched destinations, as well as fresh ways to explore old haunts. In 2017 Pagotto brought Crooked Compass to the scrutiny of some of Australia’s top business minds on Australia’s “Shark Tank”.
The lunch is being held at 12.30pm on Wednesday 14 February at The Grace Hotel, 77 York St Sydney, and is hosted by Skal International Sydney.
