Giant pandas with China, South Korea and Japan
Demand from customers eager to see China’s giant pandas has prompted ecruising.travel to create a 23-night package that ventures into the heart of Sichuan Province.
Terracotta Warriors, Giant Pandas and Japan’s Finest – which begins in Beijing on October 19 this year – includes a nine-day tour from the Chinese capital to historic Shanghai before embarking on Celebrity Millennium for a 14-night voyage that also takes in destinations around South Korea and Japan.
The land segment includes stops in Xian, Chengdu and Shanghai where travellers will see bucket-list attractions like the Terracotta Army, Muslim Quarter, Wild Goose Pagoda, The Bund, and French Concession as well as visiting the Dujiangyan Panda Base to spy some of the animals in residence.
Once on board Celebrity Millennium there’s an extended three-day stop in Beijing, visits to both Seoul and Jeju Island in South Korea, and time in Japan to explore Kobe and Mt Fuji before disembarking in Tokyo.
The package is from $5699 per person including return economy flights from Australia, accommodation and transfers in Beijing and Tokyo at the start and finish of the itinerary, train travel in China, entrance fees and activities during the land portion, and all meals on board Celebrity Millennium.
