Save the date – Vivid Sydney 2018

Vivid Sydney is set to once again transform the city into a dazzling creative canvas when the festival returns for its ten year anniversary, held over 23 nights from Friday 25 May to Saturday 16 June, 2018.

NSW Minister for Tourism and Major Events, Adam Marshall said, “Vivid Sydney is undeniably Australia’s largest event and 2018 promises to entertain, inspire and innovate. I encourage everyone to start planning a visit to Sydney to be part of the tenth birthday celebrations of Vivid Sydney, and what I expect will be our biggest program yet.”

Vivid Sydney is a major celebration of the creative industries and renowned as the world’s largest festival of light, music and ideas, attracting a record 2.33 million visitors in 2017.

Vivid Sydney transforms the Harbour City with its large scale light installations and projections (Vivid Light); music performances and collaborations (Vivid Music including Vivid LIVE at the Sydney Opera House); and creative ideas, discussion and debate (Vivid Ideas), all celebrating Sydney as the creative hub of the Asia-Pacific.

Vivid Sydney is owned, managed and produced by Destination NSW, the NSW Government’s tourism and major events agency.
