2019 departures for North Pacific Passage & Far Eastern Horizons
Due to unprecedented demand for two of its most popular ocean itineraries – North Pacific Passage and Far East Horizons, Viking today released new departure dates for 2019. After first sailings for both cruises sold out, the 23-day North Pacific Passage is now open for a single 14 August 2019 departure from Vancouver to Tokyo. The 15-day Far Eastern Horizons is now open for departures from Hong Kong to Tokyo or vice versa on 6 September, 18 October and 1 November 2019.
The strong demand for Viking’s North Pacific Passage itinerary reflects the curiosity of the Australian and New Zealand market to explore hotspots such as Japan, Russia and Alaska. Similarly, the demand for the Far East Horizons cruise echoes the trend in visiting unique, historical locations like Nagasaki and Busan and the opportunity to experience the dazzling cultures of Shimizu and Tokyo. The initial release of these two itineraries saw unprecedented sales for Viking from the Australian and New Zealand markets.
“These itineraries really tap into trending destinations that consumers are asking for right now,” said Michelle Black, Managing Director Viking Cruises Australia and New Zealand. “This particular price reflects exceptional value for money. Due to immediate and sustained demand, we expect these new dates to sell out fast. I recommend to book your clients on these itineraries now to take advantage of the best pricing and stateroom categories.”
The 23-day North Pacific Passage from Vancouver to Tokyo includes 11 guided tours in four countries. Prices start from $9,995pp in a Veranda Stateroom, which includes a significant saving of $1,200 per couple. This special must be booked before 31 March 2018 unless sold out prior.
The 15-day Far Eastern Horizons from Hong Kong to Tokyo or vice versa includes nine guided tours in four countries.
