CLIA reminds agents to submit nominations for ‘the CLIAs’

Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Australasia has reminded travel agents to head online and submit nominations for the 17th Cruise Industry Awards before submissions close in three weeks’ time. CLIA member agents can submit nominations online for Agent Promotion of the Year Australia / New Zealand, Network Promotion of the Year (Australasia) and Plan a Cruise Month Agency Award (Australasia).

CLIA Australasia & Asia Managing Director Joel Katz encourages those in the industry to nominate themselves or a deserving colleague before submissions close on Friday, 22 December 2017.

‘We know there are a lot of travel agents out there who have worked hard this past year so head online before the deadline and nominate someone who deserves recognition,” Mr Katz said.

Nominations will be judged by an independent panel based on a selection of set criteria as specified on the CLIA Australasia website.

The Cruise Industry Awards acknowledge the exceptional achievements of agents who are making waves in the industry with other categories including Cruise Agency of the Year, Online Agency of the Year, Homebased/Mobile Agent of the Year (Broker in NZ), Cruise Consultant of the Year, the Rising Star award and the latest entrant to the CLIA Hall of Fame, as nominated by CLIA members.

Channel 7 presenter Natalie Barr will host the gala event, which will be held at the Star Event Centre Sydney on Saturday February 24, 2018. To buy tickets or submit a nomination, visit: https://www.cruising.org.au/CLIA-Events/Cruise-Industry-Awards
