Holiday Holiday races towards full house
SURFERS Paradise accommodation provider Holiday Holiday is on track for a full house as the city rolls out one of its biggest weekends of entertainment for the Supercars Vodafone Gold Coast 600 event, from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 October.
Holiday Holiday director Lee Lee Goh said 66 of the 70 luxury apartments managed by the company were already booked, as interstate visitors raced to join in the thrills both on and off-track as the holiday precinct hosts the high-octane annual event.
“This year, we have introduced a minimum four-night stay, which has been very well-received by our guests who are taking the opportunity to come to the Gold Coast to see the excitement of the races and the big concerts that will take place at night, as well as explore the other attractions on offer throughout the region,” Ms Goh said.
“We are already at 95 per cent occupancy, so I would urge anyone considering visiting Surfers Paradise for this event or during that weekend to act now to secure a last-minute booking and avoid disappointment.”
The strong race weekend bookings come on the tail end of a bumper school holiday season for local accommodation providers, with Holiday Holiday racking up 100 per cent occupancy throughout the NSW September school holiday dates.
“This was the start of a very busy season of outstanding bookings for us, as many families come to experience the Gold Coast’s fantastic beach culture and sunshine, and also make the most of a great range of festivals and events happening in the city over the next couple of months.”
Holiday Holiday family apartments are available at some of the Gold Coast’s most prestigious addresses, including Circle on Cavill, Chevron Renaissance, H Residences, and Soul, all centrally located within the entertainment mecca of Surfers Paradise and just a stone’s throw from the Supercars racetrack.
Ms Goh said many bookings were from repeat guests who trusted they would receive a high level of customer service and quality accommodation through the company.
“Our customers know they can expect a high standard of cleanliness in all our apartments, and also our friendly staff are always here to help make their holiday a special time by assisting with any need that may arise during their stay, from arrival to departure,” she said.
Other guests were visiting during GC600 weekend for the first time, drawn by live entertainment including big names Delta Goodrem, Daryl Braithwaite, the Hilltop Hoods, and Violent Soho, performing across both nights of the event at the Broadwater Parklands.
