Australia’s leading hotel booking and payment solutions provider, The Lido Group, is in the running to win one of NSW’s premier business awards after being named as Western Sydney’s ‘Business of the Year’.

The coveted award was one of two accolades The Lido Group received at this month’s Western Sydney Awards for Business Excellence, with the company also winning the ‘Excellence in Business’ category.

Lido is now a finalist in the 2017 NSW Business Chamber’s Business Awards, which recognise and reward companies whose “passion, determination, innovation and success inspire other businesses and business people”.

The Lido Group Chief Executive Steve Mackenzie says the honour caps a remarkable year for the company, which in May was named ‘2017 Travel Partner of the Year’ at the prestigious BTTB-GBTA Travel Management Awards.

“We were absolutely delighted to have our company’s innovative products and outstanding customer service acknowledged by our travel industry peers earlier this year,” says Mackenzie.

“To now be recognised by the broader NSW business community, and be chosen as a finalist for one of the state’s most important accolades, is a tremendous honour.

Mackenzie took the opportunity to thank The Lido Group team for their “unwavering dedication and commitment”.

“One of our core values is ‘don’t collect customers, create partnerships’, and with that in mind I would also like to thank all of our customers and business partners for their ongoing support and encouragement.”

The NSW Business Chamber’s Business Awards will be presented in November at a State Gala Dinner at the International Convention Centre Sydney.
