The leading tour operator APT launched their 2018 Kimberly Wilderness Adventures brochure with a bevy of early-bird Superdeals including Fly Free on selected tours.
Tours range from the 6-day Broome to Bungles, 4WD Remote Journey starting at $3,895pp, twin share, to the 27-day Kimberly, Kakadu and Arnhem Land with Coastal Cruise, return trip to Broome, $22,590pp, twin share. Both tours come with accompanying Superdeals on flights!
The most popular tour, the 15-day Kimberley Complete provides an in-depth trip around remote and timelessly beautiful, ancient landscapes of Western Australia in small groups of only 20 guests. Prices start at $9995pp twin share, with additional Fly Free, or Companion Fly Free Superdeals available if
booking before the 15 December.
The Kimberley Complete tour showcases the best of the region, guest can take an exhilarating helicopter ride over Mitchell Falls; with a drink in hand, savour a sensational sunset over the Bungle Bungle Range; uncover fascinating Wandjina and Bradshaw (Gwion Gwion) rock art; and soak in the thermal Zebedee Springs at El Questro Wilderness Park.
Included on all 4WD tours, APT’s network of wilderness lodges offer a touch of luxury in the wilderness. Immersed in nature and designed to complement their surroundings, each lodge is conveniently located, providing superb and easy access to some of the Kimberly’s most fantastic destinations including the remote Mitchell Plateau, the unique orange and black striped beehivedomes of the Bungle Bungle Range and the beautiful Bell Gorge set to the dramatic backdrop of the King Leopold Ranges.
New experiences to APT’s 2018 program include an extension to Cape Leveque, offering travellers a taste of the sublime coastal landscape with a fast boat ride taking in the rugged coastline. Visiting the untouched marine wildernesses of Beagle Bay and Cygnet Bay, APT guests will also be treated to a behind the scenes visit to the Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm joined by a local expert to discover how the world’s finest pearls are produced.
The 2018 itinerates also include an adventurous explorer’s option, with more hiking added to the Kimberley Active itinerary. Offering a true challenge on some of the remotest and most rugged hiking trails that the Kimberley has to offer. Guest can expect demanding walks covering up to 18 kilometres per day, traversing terrain that is often rocky and uneven, an adventure not for the faint of heart but all made worthwhile with the reward of experiencing more of this fascinating region than most other
