New Whale Swim Zen and Adventure Package
Save $400 per couple on all-inclusive package if booked before September 30, 2017
Days of yoga by a turquoise lagoon, kayaking, seaside horseriding, paddleboarding, sunset champagne and swimming with wild whales are on offer as part of a new package offered by Australian eco operator, Majestic Whale Encounters.
The just-released ‘Whale Swim Zen and Adventure’ package is the first of its kind offered by Majestic Whale Encounters and will see Australians travel to Tonga in August, 2018, when they will stay in beachside bungalows on the idyllic coral island of Foa in Tonga’s Ha’apai group of islands, 40 minutes by air from the capital, Nuku’alofa. There, they can take part in an array of recreational activities while enjoying the island’s pristine beauty.
The package is available from August 20 to 28, 2018, and includes local, island flights, unlimited yoga, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and bushwalking, four days swimming with humpback whales in Tongan waters and all main meals, including a special sunset beach dinner, complete with champagne. Travellers can also choose between one day of kite surfing lessons or an afternoon of horse riding on the beach.
Guests will have the opportunity to spend four days swimming with the majestic mammals, which measure up to 19m long, while maintaining safe, non-invasive guidelines set by the ‘Responsible Whale Watching’ code in Tonga.
The holiday is available from $4500 per person, twin-share until September 30, 2017, after which it will cost $4700. Flights to Tonga from Australia (five hours direct) with Virgin Australia or via New Zealand are extra.
