Ted’s Travels – There is a lot more to Latin America than Machu Picchu
Machu Picchu is an extraordinary site, and I bet your clients are eager to tick it off their bucket list; however, there is a lot more to Latin America than Machu Picchu. Latin America is so diverse, there is so much to do and see, from riding a 1950s’ pink Cadillac in old Havana to admiring the stars in the clearest night sky in the world at San Pedro in the Atacama desert, or camping in the Mayan ruins of Yaxha and climb a pyramid to see the sunrise and sunset and even stay longer gazing at the stars.
Where else in the world would you be able to spot a jaguar, panther or a humpback whale? From the Cortes Gulf to Antarctica, from Pantanal to Patagonia, Latin America bursts with wildlife! Suggest Baja California or Antarctica for whale watching, or if your clients are birdwatchers would you believe that 1889 species have been recorded in Colombia? From Golden Orioles to Blue Cotings! Where else can you see the greatest number of birds in one country?
What about seeing a billion butterflies? from late October the forests of Michoacán turn orange as millions of Monarch butterflies migrate from the north. This is an incredible scenery that they will not want to miss!
How about seeing the source of the World’s longest river? We can arrange a trip that will take your clients to Arequipa, where on a day trip they will see the glacial stream on the Nevado Mismi, declared the start point of the Amazon river.
Where else can you sleep in a salt hotel or surf down an active volcano? Or canoe to the world highest waterfall? Or swim with a marine iguana? All this and more, much more. We can make it happen for your clients: a holiday of a life time in Latin America!
