Canadians are gearing up for a year-long celebration of the 150th anniversary in 2017, meaning there is no better time for travellers to experience the awe-inspiring beauty of Canada. In celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday, Rocky Mountaineer will launch an enticing Stay and Play offer, giving Australians the perfect excuse to start planning a Canadian Rockies rail adventure on this special milestone year.

From December 30th 2016 until March 3rd 2017, new bookings of seven nights or more receive up to $600 per couple in added value to spend on dining, cruising, sightseeing and more.

Guests can use this extra credit on something to make their trip even more memorable, be it extra hotel nights, indulging in additional meals, inspiring activities like the Victoria Excursion with whale watching and more. With this offer, guests have the opportunity to enjoy more of destinations such as, Seattle, WA, Vancouver and Whistler, BC, or Jasper, Lake Louise, Banff, and Calgary, AB.

One of the many eligible vacation packages is the spectacular Golden Circle via Whistler, travelling between Vancouver and Whistler, Quesnel, Jasper, Lake Louise, Banff, Kamloops, and returning to Vancouver on the final day. The twelve days/eleven nights holiday includes five amazing days onboard the train, eleven nights hotel accommodation, a number of exciting tours and activities in various destinations, as well as five breakfasts and four lunches.
