Japan demand encourages additional departures
LEADING Asia tour specialist Wendy Wu Tours, has announced the release of additional and much sought after departure dates on popular Japan escorted group tours during the famous Cherry Blossom season.
Australian general manager Andrew Mulholland revealed that 2017 Japan group tour departures have been sold out since mid-2016 with each operator generally given a limited number of dates to operate tours during this peak season.
Mulholland added that it was exciting to see such growth in a country where the demand outweighs availability and it was due to this demand that secured additional departure dates for Japan.
“This is a huge advantage for agents and customers, many of whom did not realise the popularity of the destination and thus left booking too late for 2017. Encouraged by previous interest, we believe these dates will sell-out quickly and highly recommend customers secure their place on tours as soon as possible to avoid disappointment”.
The 12-day ‘Essential Japan’ tour has two extra departures leaving Australia on March 16 priced from $9,560 and March 24 priced from $9,960 per person, twin share next year.
The 14-day ‘Discover Japan’ has an extra departure date from Australia on April 2 and is priced from $10,960 per person twin share.
As with all Wendy Wu Tours’ Classic Tours the inclusive price covers return economy airfares and taxes from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Cairns, Adelaide and Perth, all accommodation, all meals, all ground transportation in Japan and daily sightseeing with expert national escorts.
