Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board (L.A. Tourism), together with Visit California Australia, brought nine lucky travel agents from Flight Centre on a whirlwind trip of L.A, to get a taste of the native Angelono’s lifestyle.

Making their way straight to the heart of Hollywood, the group made the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel their base for the duration of the trip. The hotel is located just minutes away from iconic L.A. attractions such as the Dolby Theatre, TCL Chinese Theatre, Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Hollywood Bowl. That evening, the agents took the nearby Metro Red Line to STAPLES Center in Downtown to watch a L.A. Kings Ice Hockey game.

To experience the quintessential L.A. lifestyle, the group hiked a Griffith Park trail guided by Bikes and Hikes LA, where they got a glimpse of the Hollywood sign and Griffith Observatory. They also visited The Grove and The Original Farmers Market—two must-visit spots that are popular with tourists and locals alike. In addition, the group stopped by the new Rooftop at Mama Shelter for drinks and dinner, all with a picture-perfect sunset as the backdrop.

Agents experienced L.A.’s cultural offerings by paying a visit to one of L.A.’s largest art museums, Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), where they explored the Guillermo del Toro exhibition and indulged in the famous food truck row culture located outside the museum. They also visited the newly remodeled Petersen Automotive Museum, home to a collection of more than 300 vehicles.
