New Tours in Iceland and Norway Join Globus Europe
Globus will set out to explore the spectacular glaciers, fjords, geysers and waterfalls of the subarctic north next year, introducing new tours in Iceland and Norway as part of its 2017 collection of European holidays.
Now on sale with early booking discounts of 10 per cent*, the 2017 Globus Europe program offers more than 80 different tour itineraries across the continent – from grand European Panoramas exploring multiple countries to shorter regional tours that offer an in-depth focus on a particular country or region.
New tours include excursions into pristine landscapes on the fringes of the Arctic Circle, as well as new itineraries in continental Europe and Ireland:
· The Best of Norway – a seven-day tour travelling by road and rail through some of Scandinavia’s most spectacular country, beginning in Oslo and ending in the coastal city of Bergen.
· Gems of Iceland – a six-day circuit from the capital Reykjavik, travelling among the extraordinary waterfalls, geysers, hot springs and glaciers of Iceland. It includes a whale-spotting expedition or, on some departures, a rare chance to spot the Aurora Borealis.
· German Vista – an eight-day focus on Germany, travelling from Berlin to some of the most enchanting towns and landscapes in Bavaria. It visits Dresden, Weimar, Rothenburg, Neuschwanstein and Oberammergau before ending in Munich.
· From Ireland’s Ancient East to the Wild Atlantic Way – a nine-day focus on Ireland. It travels from Dublin to stunning locations including Waterford, Blarney, Killarney, Limerick, the Cliffs of Moher and Galway.
To mark the release of the 2017 Europe program, Globus is offering savings of 10 per cent* off the land portion of all tours booked by November 29, 2016, or five per cent off tours booked by April 25, 2017. Further discounts are available for booking a second tour and for repeat travellers from the Globus Journeys Club.
