Carrier: THAI Airways International

Aircraft: Boeing 777-300ER

Configuration: 3-3-3

Duration: Approximately 1 hour

Check-in: On my way to the airport I checked in to my flight online, making the process at the counter much quicker. This flight was the first of two on my way to Brisbane, so the check-in for both flights was done in Phuket. The staff member at the check-in counter was friendly and very helpful; finding me more suitable seats on my second flight and guiding me in the right direction of the busy Phuket Airport.

Service: The service on-board was faultless. The crew were pleasant and welcoming as they quickly ushered everyone on board for a very prompt take-off.

Food: A light snack of a savory Stromboli was served shortly after take-off.

Entertainment: Each seat was fitted with its own screen, displaying only flight information for the duration of the flight. Due to the short length of the flight, the lack of entertainment wasn’t a major issue – as long you remembered to pack your own device or reading material.

Overall: I was pleased that it was only a short flight as the aircraft was completely full, due to the late afternoon departure and the popularity of the route. Otherwise, it was a pleasant connecting flight on my way to Brisbane.
