Travel agent training events, Treasures of the South Pacific, will commence in Melbourne on 26 April, 2016 and Hobart on 27 April, 2016.
Sponsored by South Pacific Tourism Organisation and Pacific Islands Trade & Invest, agents have until 12 April, 2016 to register for the Melbourne and Hobart events.
Representatives from the tourism offices of Cook Islands, New Caledonia, Norfolk Island, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tahiti, Vanuatu and some Hidden Treasures will come together to showcase each of these beautiful and fascinating South Pacific holiday destinations.
Kerryn Cook, President of Treasures of the South Pacific, said the consolidated approach to jointly market the South Pacific as a region attracted more than 100 agents from Melbourne in 2015 and the hope is to exceed this number in 2016.
“We believe our dedicated South Pacific training events is the key tool for travel agents to fully understand our region and will better equip them with the tools they need to entice travellers to the South Pacific,” Cook said.
Registrations for the Melbourne and Hobart events close 12 April, 2016.
