Ramada Noumea celebrates with a new name
Ramada® Plaza Noumea has started its tenth year with a new name, Ramada Hotel and Suites Noumea – kicking off a busy anniversary year which will include the completion of a major refurbishment and renewal.
General Manager, George Dechaineux said ongoing improvements with customer experience and the hotel’s facilities had been a key focus since opening in 2005, with the team committed to making the hotel even better in its second decade.
“Right now, the hotel is undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment of more than 100 million CFP francs,” Mr Dechaineux said. “Our beautiful rooms are being revitalised with new bedding and carpet and changes to improve air conditioning.
“But the standout features to be finalised in the coming months will be the new spa, offering a variety of massage, waxing and facial treatments and the brand new sports bar linking the hotel interior with the outside deck and televising sports games from around the world,” he added.
These improvements will make Ramada Hotel and Suites Noumea more appealing to overseas guests, particularly from the key markets of Australia and New Zealand.
“We have seen numbers of Aussies and Kiwis increase over the past ten years and that is no surprise because the Ramada name gives us access to markets of enthusiastic, committed overseas travellers, looking for new experiences and comfortable rooms,” he said.
As part of the freshen-up, the hotel has changed its name to Ramada Hotel and Suites Noumea and Mr Dechaineux reassured guests that the customer offerings will not be affected.
“We are still committed to giving the best customer experience possible by providing friendly, professional service and stylish studios and suites for affordable prices,” he said.
Ramada Hotel and Suites Noumea offers 125 rooms, from spacious modern studios to three bedroom suites, all with fully-equipped kitchenettes for convenience. With views of the Anse Vata Bay and the racecourse, the hotel is just a short distance from Noumea city and 45 minutes’ drive from the international airport.
