Great Win for CCIA Members at NSW Tourism Awards
The NSW Caravan & Camping Industry Association (CCIA) congratulates BIG4 Deniliquin Holiday Park on its win at the NSW Tourism Awards, taking out the Caravan & Holiday Parks award that recognises excellence in caravan and tent holiday park accommodation.
“BIG4 Deniliquin Holiday Park is a fantastic holiday park with amazing facilities that showcase the Riverina region,” CCIA CEO, Lyndel Gray said last night.
“This property has everything you expect from a top-tier caravan and camping destination with family friendly facilities, luxury cabins and a waterfrontage that gives instant access to their own water skiing slalom course and even a conference facility.
“It is a great example of the fantastic destinations and accommodation that caravan and camping parks offer to the tourism industry in NSW and we congratulate BIG4 Deniliquin Holiday Park on its win.”
“As Australia’s favourite caravan and camping state, NSW has a multitude of great holiday parks for people to choose from and it is great to see every one of the finalists in this category are CCIA members.”
CCIA Member finalists were:
BIG4 Deniliquin Holiday Park (Gold Winner)
Halifax Holiday Park (Silver Winner)
BIG4 Sunshine South West Rocks (Bronze Winner)
BIG4 Great Lakes at Forster Tuncurry (Highly Commended)
Stockton Beach Holiday Park
“NSW is Australia’s favorite state for caravan and camping holidays and around 80% of these visitors come for holiday or leisure with areas of regional NSW including the Outback, South Coast and North Coast the most popular destinations.
“Caravanning and camping is one of the fastest growing domestic tourism sectors in NSW
with more than 2.2 million caravan and camping visitors each year.
“And each year we see parks across the state making substantive upgrades to their product quality, and it’s no surprise caravan and camping holidays are so popular.
“Congratulations to BIG4 Deniliquin Holiday Park and all the finalists on their success at this year’s awards,” Ms Gray said.
