When and why did you join the industry?
1985, an opportunity was there, I took it and have never looked back.
What do you like most about your job?
Creating great holiday experiences for guests, meeting people from all walks of life and being able to create the ultimate holiday experience.
What’s one of the biggest achievements of your career so far?
Taking Hideaway resort from 16 bures to 115 bures.
What’s the best advice ever given to you and who gave it?
Just keep pushing forward. Mr Dan Costello.
Who do you admire and see as a role model in the industry?
The General Managers of the chain hotels and resorts.
What can people expect from your company and what sets it apart from the rest?
A fantastic interaction with our brilliant staff, learning about their culture, our environmental programs great kid’s club and a relaxing holiday. Treasure Island Resort Fiji has an enviable history with a world class reputation.
What destinations are on your travel bucket list?
Numerous destinations within Asia, mystique and intrigue of the Far East.
What’s a memorable travel experience you’ve had (good or bad)?
Going to Las Vegas and seeing all those huge hotels, it was incredible the size of these properties, almost overwhelming.
What are three things you always take with you when travelling?
Undies, credit card and medicines

What direction do you see the industry heading in over the next five to ten years?
Expanding the different options available to guests as well as an increased range of activities to enjoy. With compassion so fierce, you have to be innovative and creative and do it better than anyone else.
