As the peak industry body representing the business interests of travel agents in Australia, AFTA (Australian Federation of Travel Agents) has a strong focus on education and training, professional advice and services, and industry affairs.
By supporting the exhibition, AFTA will assist in developing the seminar program for The Travel Industry Exhibition education program, which will feature content about AFTA’s travel accreditation scheme, ATAS.
According to AFTA General Manager, Gary O’Riordan, The Travel Industry Exhibition provides AFTA with a fantastic opportunity to meet face-to-face with its travel agent community in one central location to network as well as inform, support and share ideas through the seminar sessions.
“AFTA has chosen to be the industry supporter of The Travel Industry Exhibition – one of the biggest events for our industry. We are delighted to assist in the development of the education component of the event, which will provide relevant information for travel agents and industry suppliers,” Mr O’Riordan said.
“AFTA is committed to increasing the industry’s education, training and professionalism, and The Travel Industry Exhibition provides us with an avenue to do so. By showcasing expert speakers, the event will provide key insights and contacts to help grow your business. We look forward to networking with our industry colleagues during the event.”
AFTA’s support for The Travel Industry Exhibition ensures those who attend the education sessions will benefit from learning information relevant to them, whether they are visitors or exhibitors.
Event Director, Pascal Ibrahim, said the team is proud to have AFTA’s support for the show.
“We are thrilled to have the support of AFTA for The Travel Industry Exhibition. AFTA’s involvement in the show will provide additional value to attendees, as well as accreditation to our education program,” Mr Ibrahim said.
“Our education program mirrors AFTA’s goal to keep the travel industry educated and informed, and contribute to the professional development of the industry.”
