Ski wholesalers and retailers in the two countries submitted 164 unique itineraries during the program’s second year, which ran from June 5 until August 8, 2014, a 95 per cent increase year on year.

The top 10 agents won an unforgettable, all-expense-paid ski trip to British Columbia, Colorado and Wyoming next January, flying United. The successful agents will be able to explore some of the best ski resorts and destinations North America has to offer; carving up the slopes at popular resorts including, Aspen, Big White, Breckenridge, Jackson Hole, Silver Star, Steamboat, Sun Peaks and Vail.

Throughout the incentive there was great support from participating agents, with a standout performance from Travelplan, with seven agents finishing in the top 10.

Alison Espley, United’s director of sales for Australia and New Zealand, said: “This year has been a great success and we appreciate and thank all the participating agents for their efforts. We are pleased to be offering more seamless, one-stop options to the North American ski resorts via our west coast hubs than ever before, especially as United launches a new nonstop service between Melbourne and Los Angeles this October, the first international route on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.”

In addition to Travelplan, agents from Snowcapped Tours, Travel Plan Ski, Blue Powder and Mogul Ski World were among the top performers.
