300 luxury travel agents from around Australia and the world for Luxperience, a showcase of the most premium new products from hotels, cruise companies, tourism boards and Etihad Airways.
The convention begun yesterday with the International Media Marketplace, a social networking session between agents and travel media, with the next three days of Luxperience to focus on buyers.
Attendees are being kept busy with scheduled appointments and initiatives such as the Corporate Connect Event.
Exciting new products soon available for travellers include the launch of luxury accommodation by Etihad Airways, the Residence, Visit UK’s celebrations involving the 250th birthday of Agatha Christie in the UK and the opening the of InterContinental Double Bay.
Luxperience chief executive officer Lindy Andrews said that the conference’s attendees reflect the desire of more and more travellers for opulent experiences when on holiday.
“Our experiential exhibitors offer bespoke travel designers a choice of unique experiences in some of the most divine locations around the world; from ski safaris in the Swiss Alps, to trekking in the foothills of the Himalayas in Bhutan through to unique water based activities in Queenstown,” Ms Andrews said.
