The Radisson on Flagstaff Gardens Melbourne has completed the last stage of its upgrade by recreating all of the glass panels in its lobby, rooms, bathrooms and lifts.
The new program includes 100 refurbished bathrooms with new sparkle black glass panels, reception desks with rumpled silver glass panelling and backdrop muted white glass panelling.
Radisson on Flagstaff Gardens Melbourne general manager Steve Finlayson said that work had been undertaken over several months to install the glass and the installation had not affected the hotel’s 90 per cent occupancy rate.
“We have shed much beach wood panelling and created a bright classy glassy look,” Mr Finlayson said.
“Our new lobby furniture and Reception glass panels for instance were installed overnight which amazed guests when they came down for breakfast.”
The refurbishment program, dubbed The Refurbishment by Evolution does not engage with traditional upgrade routine rooms.
