Pyrmont Festival serves up an excellent evening

The Pyrmont Festival had its gala launch event last night at The Star’s Sokyo restaurant.

The night profiled the diverse range of wines including a strong Shiraz available from the Mudgee region of NSW, which has an ongoing partnership with The Festival and allowed guests to savour the best of Sokyo’s cuisine including Green Tea macaroons.

VIP speakers on the night included the Lord Mayor of Sydney Clover Moore who talked about the new ferry cruise available to visitors to the Pyrmont Festival and Channel 10 presenter Natasha Belling who was a local of Mudgee and talked about all it had to offer in terms of food culture and nature.

The Pyrmont Festival runs from 16-25 May with its main event in Pirrama Park from the 17 and 18 May.
