Sales Manager – Cruise Whitsundays – Airlie Beach


Cruise Whitsundays is the region's premium marine tourism company, operating day cruises to the Great Barrier Reef, the famous Whitehaven Beach and connections to Island Resorts throughout the 74 Islands of the Whitsundays. Due to continued growth, expansion and a recent vacancy, we have an opportunity for a highly motivated Sales Manager to join our office in Airlie Beach.

Your role will be to develop new and existing business relationships, implement sales strategies and processes to ensure our products and services are presented to a high standard. You'll enjoy networking with external industry partners, be commercially aware and have excellent presentation skills.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Through the team of sales executives and BDM, drive growth
  • Work and coordinate sales efforts with key industry partners
  • Meet deadlines and sales targets
  • Identify and deliver tactical sales campaigns
  • Liaise and coordinate with management colleagues

The key skills required for this role include:

  • Proven track record leading a team
  • Proven sales experience
  • Knowledge and experience in the Tourism Industry
  • Confidence, professionalism and presentation
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent at time management and able to prioritise effectively
  • Self-Motivated, able to problem solve independently
  • Strong communication skills
