Brand USA has signed a six month commercial agreement with Flight Centre in order to promote America as the ‘go-to’ tourist destination.
The agreement requires Flight Centre to organise exclusive USA marketing campaigns.
The second phase will be Brand USA hosting special workshops for Flight Centre travel agents in order to define destination and thematic plans.
A training and development program will also be on offer to the agents to help them share information about the diversity of the USA’s experiences.
“Currently 85 per cent of Australians travelling to the U.S. annually visit one of four destinations – California, New York, Nevada or Hawaii," Brand USA’s senior vice president global partnerships development Alfredo Gonzalez said.
“Brand USA’s mission is to support these destinations and diversify travel patterns and expose all of the travel possibilities available in the U.S.”
The first phase of the partnership will occur from April 2014.
