Concierge Industry Awards

Concierge Industry AwardsThe first ever “Concierge Industry Awards” being held on Monday 28th October 2013 at Dockside Cockle Bay Wharf.

The Concierge Industry Awards has been designed by Where Magazine and Les Clefs d’Or as a celebration of the companies and individuals working tirelessly to ensure the national and international guests visiting Sydney have an unforgettable holiday.

In March this year, Peter Brown (Chief Concierge Four Points by Sheraton and the National Secretary of Les Clefs d’Or) and Tony Ilbery (National Business Development Manager of Where Magazines) started working on this exciting new project. Over the next few months an organizing committee was formed with concierge from InterContinental, The Westin, The Star and the Sydney Harbour Marriott, categories to cover all aspects of the concierge industry mapped out, a venue for the awards night secured and MC James O’Loghlin booked.

June and July was spend surveying Sydney Les Clefs d’Or members and a handful of other leading Sydney Concierge. Their answers collated and a short list of companies and people in all categories finalised.

The finalists were than announced over a two week period through a series of short videos on the Concierge Industry Awards facebook page, youtube channel and twitter accounts.
