One month remains to complete the Sultanate of Oman’s online agent training with a “Side Trip of a Lifetime”: Luxury agent famil for forty agents; must undertake training by 21 July 2013



The Sultanate of Oman: Ministry of Tourism’s Luxury Agent Famil in November is set to be jam packed with unforgettable experiences throughout Oman. Agents are encouraged to complete the online training as soon as possible as only one more month remains.  The fun and interactive online training tool was created to better equip travel agents in Australia and New Zealand about the various things to do and see in Oman, . Comprised of eight modules over two workshops, the modules have been designed to showcase Oman’s pristine desert sands, cool mountains and its capital city, Muscat; while also offering valuable knowledge to trusted trade partners to better promote and sell each of the distinct regions. With the ongoing development of the tourism infrastructure, expansion of Oman's airports and integrated tourism complexes (ITCs), the Sultanate hopes to increase the share of tourism in the gross domestic product (GDP) to 3 per cent by 2020 from 2.4 per cent at present.

The Sultanate of Oman are offering 40 travel agents the opportunity of a luxury tour of Oman that showcases the best the country has to offer from the mystical and magical capital Muscat, the vastness of the Arabian sands, to the majestic mountains of Oman that rise 3000metres above sea.
