Welcome to the October edition of Out in OZ, your monthly news from Gay and Lesbian Tourism Australia and brought to you this month by Out Travel.
September marks the start of the festival season that culminates in March with Mardi Gras. Only last month GALTA headed north to attend the Brisbane Pride Fairday, and last weekend, we ventured west to participate in the Perth Pride Fairday.
Later this month, Coast Out gets underway at Coffs Harbour and in November, festivals take place in Canberra, Hobart and Adelaide. If you are traveling to any of these locations, be sure to checkout the many events scheduled and support these important community celebrations.
In this edition we look at the latest refurbishment of the Sunlover Reef Cruises Fleet, the launch of Gay Globe in Australia, and Mardi Gras announces the theme for the 2013 Festival – Generations of Love.
We also feature the Muk Muk Indigenous Fine Art Gallery and announce the latest newsletter subscriber prize winner courtesy of 8 Hotels Collection.
