The dust and the glitter has finally settled after a very busy festival season over the past few months. Despite the rain, large numbers turned out for the 2012 Mardi Gras Parade and a sold out crowd were entertained at the After Party including a special 25th Anniversary performance by Kylie Minogue.
In this newsletter, we feature a number of our Members, who have recently undertaken upgrades to their properties and facilities for the benefit of their guests. We also feature the Gold Coast Gay Day which is set for Saturday 12 May at the Parklands Showgrounds. GALTA will be there, so do come up and say hello if you are attending.

Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras have announced they are thrilled with the phenomenal success of this year’s Sydney Mardi Gras Festival, Parade and Party.
Marriage equality crusader Shelly Argent OAM was this year’s Chief of Parade and there were more than 9100 participants and 134 floats working their way up the parade route to the thunderous applause and cheers of the hundreds of thousands of people lining the streets.
