Insight Vacations has launched their 2011/12 Winter Europe and Eastern Mediterranean programme featuring five new itineraries in answer to strong demand from the Australian market.
The five new itineraries include: 7D Magical Switzerland; 10D Best of Italy; 17D Grand Egyptian Explorer; 16D Genesis; and 12D Jordan and Israel.
Speaking to e-Travel Blackboard, Insight Vacations managing director Lorraine Sharp said that while “Egypt has been a bit of a challenge”, the demand for Egyptian escorted touring is still strong.
“We’ll see a resurgence in Egypt in 2012,” she told e-Travel Blackboard.
According to Ms Sharp, Insight Vacations were spurred to include new itineraries, including the 17D Grand Egyptian Explorer, at the behest of consumer feedback.
“Our product is continually evolving as we continually enhance and redress consumer demand,” Ms Sharp said.
One clear example of this is how Insight Vacations, upon seeing a growing trend in travellers to purchase two Egyptian tours, created the 17D Grand Egyptian Explorer.
With Insight’s Winter Europe and Eastern Mediterranean programme continuing to “expand year on year”, Ms Sharp said “an increased awareness amongst Australian travellers of the unique experiences and of course, savings, on offer throughout Europe during these seasons” helped grow the programme.
The new programme is also marked as offering savings of up to 20 per cent on summer prices, which according to Ms Sharp, provides the Australian traveller with more options for travel.
“With the Australian dollar where it is, travellers are now getting more bang for their buck and you simply cannot overlook the value of winter in Europe.”
Add to this Insight’s Early Payment Discounts of up to 7.5 per cent off a tour and, if eligible, a further five percent Frequent Traveller Discount, the value is hard to surpass, said Ms Sharp.
Agents can expect a visit from an Insight Vacations sales representative to go into more detail of the new itineraries as well the independent touring itineraries through popular European cities (Select Choices).
