The iconic Resort, in the Swan Valley, just 35 minutes from Perth’s CBD, first opened the doors on 16th September, 1989 – officiated over by Peter Dowding, who was Premier of Western Australia at the time.
The Resort was established in two separate developments with the golf course, condominiums and resort facilities (gymnasium, restaurants, tennis courts and even a bowling green) being completed first with the golf course only 27 holes at the time. The additional 9 holes were completed in 1996, making the Resort the 36-hole championship golf course it is today. The Novotel hotel was also completed in 1996 to feature 103 hotel rooms and additional Resort facilities.
To get this great accommodation rate you will need to call the Resort Reservations between 8am and 8pm only on the 16th September 2010 to book your Resort room for your stay ONLY between 16th September 2010 and 30th September 2010.

The Vines Resort and Country Club has seen its share of celebrities, as host first to the Heineken Classic golf tournament from 1993 till 2001. The top 20 women golfers graced the fairways during the Lexus Cup in 2007 and some superstar golfers in the Johnnie Walker Classic in 2006 and 2009.
From its infancy till now, it remains a firm favourite with Western Australians to get out of town, or get amongst all the vineyards and tourist attractions on Perth’s doorstep in the Swan Valley.
Since the Novotel Hotel opened, later in 1996, countless conference groups, wedding couples, and golfers have partied till the wee hours and woken up to find birds, kangaroos and native fauna nibbling outside their doorstep in the peaceful environment.
